The Cathedral girls basketball team defeated Northview 38-23 to win the Regional Championship. Senior Jaeda Wilson scored 13 points to lead the Irish. Cathedral was stout on defense, shutting out the Knights in the first quarter. The Irish limited Northview to seven points in the first half and closed strong by allowing four points in the final quarter. Cathedral advances to the semistate round where the Irish will tip-off at 10:00 AM against Roncalli. The semistate championship game will be played at 8:00 PM.
