The Cathedral boys volleyball team reached their third consecutive title game, but ultimately fell to Roncalli 0-3. The Irish showed tremendous improvement over the course of the season and battled adversity throughout the season. The Irish advanced to the championship game with a 3-0 win over Lake Central. Before the championship match, senior outside and captain Quinn Braun injured his knee and was unable to play. The Irish game out strong and battled Roncalli tough in the first set. Owen Peterson led the Irish with 13 kills and Joey Whelan added 9. Jake Werne controlled the back row with 13 digs. Cathedral finished the year 22-13 and made their sixth consecutive final four.
