The Pioneers Cross Country Team was in action Saturday morning at Angel Mounds for the Mater Dei Sectional Meet. On the boys side of things the team Finished 9th place. Scorers for the Pioneers were Darren Westerfield finishing 75th, Callahan Merkel finishing 73rd, Caleb Gentry finishing 55th, and then advancing to the Regional Round were Gavin Zint finishing 29th, and Grant Montgomery finishing in 9th. They will compete again at Angel Mounds this coming Saturday. On the girls side our ladies wrapped up their seasons Saturday morning with Ava Brown finishing 66th and Mia Smith finishing in 72nd. Congrats all on a great season. Your dedication and efforts given this season were greatly appreciated.
