The Pioneer Cross Country Team was in action on Saturday Morning running in the 2025 PAC Cross Country Championship meet. On the boys side the Running Pioneers secured a 5th place finish. Scoring for the Pioneers was Grant Montgomery Finishing 4th, Gavin Zint finishing 21st, Caleb Gentry finishing 40th, Darren Westerfield finishing 43rd, and Callahan Merkel finishing 45th. Finishing just outside the scoring for the Pioneers was their sixth man Kase Topper who ran a huge season best finishing a minute faster that his previous personal best. The Pioneers fought hard and ran a great race lowering their scoring average by 30 seconds to 18:29. On the Girls Side Ava Brown finished 57th running just off of her seasons best, And Mia Smith came through in a new personal best finishing in 63rd. The girls ran tough in a hard fought race. Way to go ladies. The Pioneer Cross Country Teams will be back in action on Saturday at Angel Mounds for the IHSAA Mater Dei Sectional.
