BHS Boys Tennis took their first match in Sectional play with a 4-1 win over South Spencer. After a tight first set, Brannon Hancock settled in and went on to win (6-4, 6-2) at No.1 singles. At Number 2 singles Marcston King played a hard fought, very close match before falling (4-6, 6-4, 10-6). Great character shown by Marcston on match point. At No. 3 singles Gavin Vollman continued what has been a remarkable run winning (6-0, 6-1). The 1 Doubles team of Brayden Young and Mason Wall played great ball to win (6-1, 6-1). Number 2 doubles, Dillon Nickens and Dylan Dicks won in a walkover. Additionally, due to their wins, Brannon Hancock at No. 1 singles and Number 1 Doubles Mason and Brayden advance in the individual state tournaments for those positions.
