On Saturday morning, Boonville Girls Soccer travelled to EVSC fields to take on the Central Bears. The Pioneers started slow, allowing the bears to score early in the game. At the half BHS found themselves down 3 to nothing. In the second half the team picked it up and earned a penalty kick, which Maya Cobb coolly put in the back of the net. Morgan Poellein had a fantastic game, completing 5 or 6 successful dribbles through multiple Central defenders. The team are back in action Monday night at Princeton.
