The Varsity Football Team kicked off their season with a win Friday night, defeating Paoli 33 - 0. Grant Davis led the Pioneers with 162 and 4 TD's on the ground. Jaxon McKain connected with Aiden Perigo for a 40 yard score. Tyler Klaner had 3 receptions and Mason Jones added 40 yards on the ground. The Pioneers played great defensively, coming up with 4 turnovers and holding the Rams scoreless. Peyton Holley and Hunter Lauderdale each had an interception, while Jones and Axton Hudson came up with fumble recoveries for the Pioneers. Jones, Klaner, Logan Strahle, and Zane Strahl had 7 tackles each. It was a great team effort and win! The Pioneers will return to action this Friday, as they host Mt. Vernon.
