The Boonville Lady Pioneers won 6 - 3 over top ranked 3A Gibson Southern. The Pioneers got on the board early in the second inning and secured the win with 12 hits overall. Mia Clamme pitched a gem for the Pioneers. Clamme struck out six batters in seven innings and only allowed three runs on the night. Emily Parker and Kayleigh Fodge each had two runs batted in - Emily Parker and Peyton each went 3 - 3 at the plate - Pryor had a solo home run in the fifth inning. Overall a great team effort. The Pioneers are back in action on Thursday at Boonville High School vs Heritage Hills at 5:00 pm - Varsity will play first. Boonville JV won 5 - 1. The Pioneers got on the board early when Addison Keith batted in a run in the second inning. Olivia Scamahorn was on the mound for the Pioneers and earned the win. Lily Rickenbaugh, Londyn Simpson, and Braylin Lancaster each collected two hits for Boonville. Great team effort by all. The JV team is also back in action as we host Heritage Hills on Thursday following the Varsity game.
