BHS Cross Country competes at Crawford County Invitational

The Cross Country Team competed at the Crawford County Invitational on Saturday. Starting the day off, was the Girls Freshman/Sophomore race - Nikki Snow was the 4th fastest Sophomore Girl to cross the finish line and she placed 21st overall in the Girls combined times! Michelle Smith finished in 20th place for the Freshman Girls. In the Freshman/Sophomore Boys race - Landen Boyer placed 22nd and Joseph Henry placed 23rd. Joseph ran a career personal best time, taking 30+ seconds off his time from last week! In the Junior/Senior Girls race - Senior Lyndsey Winsett placed 17th overall finishing with determination and heart. In the Junior/ Senior Boys race - Grant Montgomery was the fastest Junior to cross the finish line with a 1st place time of 17:32 and he placed 3rd overall in the Boys combined times! Logan Whyte was the 3rd fastest Senior, finishing with a time of 17:53 and he placed 5th overall in the Boys combined times! Senior Aiden Zint placed 22nd with a strong run. Congratulations to our top finishers Nikki, Grant & Logan! Great Job to all our Running Pioneers who battled the HEAT and finished strong on this tough & hilly course! The Team will race again next Saturday at the Pike Central Invitational at Prides Creek. Good Luck Team!
