BHS Girls soccer lost a tough game to Mt. Vernon on Tuesday night, falling 6-0 to the Wildcats. The pioneers hoped to continue the win streak they had established, but it didn't work out as planned. Maya Cobb and Ava Kelley had a combined 7 attempts on goal, but the wildcat keeper was on fire, stopping everything that came her way. Hannah Myers was an absolute beast in the backfield, earning her the "Grits of the Game" award. The lady pioneers have no time to rest, as they hit the road on Wednesday to take on conference opponent Pike Central. We believe in you ladies!
