Boonville High School

The Lady Pioneer soccer team came out guns blazing against the South Spencer Rebels. Maya Cobb began the scoring with an assist from Ava Kelley, beating the keeper with a focused finish. After a few fumbles in the backfield and a rest at the half, the ladies were able to get things going again, allowing Maya to put another in the net five minutes into the second period. Pulling off a hat trick with an assist from Molly Lockridge, Maya scored a third, and finished off with a fourth just for good measure. Our defensive line held strong with the aid of Nikki Snow and Gracey Franz, with Maddie “Mad Dog” Strahle and Mia Biggins adding some great creative play up top. The Grits of the Game award is shared by Hannah Myers and Molly Lockridge for all the hard tackles and bravery they displayed. Congrats to Lilhey Stockdale for the shutout. The ladies look to keep the streak alive against Bosse on Saturday.
