Boonville High School

On Thursday May 30th, the boys golf team competed in the IHSAA sectional at Helfrich Hills Golf Course. The team of Cash Willis, Matthew Mills, Mason Mills, Tanner Garrett, and Mason Meuth battled down to the very end against some of the best teams in Southern Indiana. The pioneers ended up finishing just 1 stroke from 3rd place Castle and 2 strokes from 2nd place finishers Mater Dei. North took first with an impressive team score of 287. Despite not finishing in the top 3 teams to advance, Cash Willis and Matthew Mills placed in the low individual spots and will move on to the regional at Country Oaks on Thursday. For the team it was an outstanding season! The coaches are extremely proud of what the boys have accomplished, and there is a strong foundation laid for seasons to come.
