Boonville High School

The boys varsity track team placed 3rd out of 10 teams Wednesday at the Princeton Invitational. First place finishers were Jordan Paul in the 110m Hurdles, and the boys 4x100m relay of Walker Pierce, Jordan Paul, Quincy Carter, and Marques Ballard. The boys 4x800 team of Eli Mayes, Logan Whyte, Kayden Musgrove, and Grant Montgomery posted a PR for the season, and the fastest in the last three seasons with a time of 8:32.94. Senior Jacob Koester placed 3rd in the Discus, and Junior Quincy Carter placed 3rd in the high jump. Sophomore Grant Montgomery ran a 1600m PR of 4:47.15. Overall the boys competed well. We are headed in the right direction. The boys and girls track teams will be back in action Monday night at home for the Pioneer Relays. The will also be senior night! Go Pioneers!
