The Lady Pioneers wrapped up their season with a hard-fought match against Castle, falling in two sets, 16–25 and 24–26. After a tough first set, the girls came back ready to battle in the second, pushing Castle all the way to the finish in a close 24–26 set. Lilli Harris led the offense with 4 kills, while Carys Barnes and Charlyann Conner each added 3. Charlyann recorded 21 assists, Audrey Byers added 19 assists, and the Lady Pioneers finished with 6 aces as a team. While the final score wasn’t the way the Lady Pioneers hoped to end their season, there is so much to be proud of. This group showed tremendous growth throughout the year and continued to fight, compete, and support one another through the very last point.
