The lady pioneers had a dominant victory in a game that went late into the evening Thursday night. BHS battled Wood Memorial to a 3-1 win. Scoring for the pioneers were Morgan Poellein and Madie the Mad Dog Strahle. Morgan's goal came after she won the ball back in our attacking third. She beat a defender and then ripped a shot from deep, which kindly bounced over their keeper. Mad Dog got over to a quick start with one goal coming from a scramble in the box and the other after she made a terrific back-post run and got on the end of an excellent cross from Reese Ransom. Great work tonight ladies. Next up for the Pioneers is Evansville Christian School at home on Tuesday. This is our last home game of the season, so let's pack the stands.
