The girls soccer team took on Forest Park Thursday night. The girls battled, but the Forest Park team was very strong, starting 6 senior players. Boonville gave as good as they got for the first 20 minutes, but the Rangers fierce attack wore them down. Hadley Hart made some impressive saves. Lydia Lemond was all over the place in defense and attack. Morgan Poellein worked so hard to create some offense, while Faith Kilgore and Mad Dog Strahle showed their speed in attack. The pioneers did eventually get one back when Paisley Fuquay played a pass out to Mad Dog on the left. Maddie slid a pass in for Ellie Tieman who finished with a confident strike into goal. The team will continue their fast-paced schedule with a home match on Saturday vs Central. Shout-out to Landrie Chapman and Carolina Malverdi for some outstanding defensive plays in the second half!
