The Varsity Football team kicked off their season with a 45-0 win over Bosse. The Pioneers overcame a slow start, led by quaterback, Beau Seiler, who threw 3 first half touchdown passes. Wyatt Seiler led the Pioneers in receiving with 4 receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Mason Jones had 85 yards of offense and a pair of touchdowns. Bradyn Egli added a pair of touchdowns for the Pioneers as well, and Hunter Lauderdale tacked on a rushing score. Defensively, the Pioneers came up with some big stops, and kept Bosse out of the endzone. Dallas Busing had 8 tackles to lead the Pioneers. Myles Busing, Mason Jones, and Zane Strahl each had 7 tackles. Strahl added a pair of sacks. Easton Wilson came up with a big pick-6 to start the second half, while Landon Boyer and Aiden Perigo combined for 5 pass deflections. It was a great TEAM win. The Pioneers will travel to Mt. Vernon this Friday, as they begin conference play.
