The season opened today for the BHS Girls Golf team. They participated in the 24th annual Mt. Vernon Invitational at Western Hills Country Club and they had a very solid showing. The team finished 3rd out of 8 teams. They improved their showing from last year by 30 strokes. Lydia Aldridge was the tournament medalist with an outstanding score of 81. Opening the season with a strong tournament field and under tough conditions, these ladies were ready for the challenge. Extremely proud of their effort and looking forward to a great season.
