In keeping up with the ever changing landscape with NCAA and college athletes, the IHSAA this Spring approved Personal Branding Activities for high school student-athletes in Indiana. In summary, the IHSAA approved policy allowing high school student-athletes to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness with some restrictions. The restrictions center around schools owning their name, uniforms and facilities. Attached is a Personal Branding Activity (PBA) sheet that better explains how student-athletes can work through potential opportunities. It is important for athletes and parents to know that if they enter into any agreement where they will be compensated, they must report this to their school Athletic Department before being compensated. If you have any questions, talk to your coaches and reach out to your school school Athletic Director (Darin Ward).
