THe Lady Pioneers Track team was in action on Tuesday night competing in the PAC championship meet at Tell City. The Ladies finished 6th in a strongly contested meet. There were some exceptional performances from the team on this evening. Scoring for the Pioneers was Whitney Shoup finishing 4th in the 100 hurdles, Addison Luff finished tied for 2nd in the high jump, Ava Kelley finished 1st in the long jump, with a jump of 17'2" 1st in the 200 in a time of 25.80 just six one hundredths of a second off of the conference meet record, and 1st in the 100 in a time of 12.12 reestablishing her own meet record from a year ago. The 4x100 meter relay team finished 1st in a time of 49.75 setting a new meet record and school record by nearly half a second! The Team will be back in action for the sectional round next Tuesday at Perry Central High School. Great job by all who competed. Go Pioneers!
