The Girls Track team was in action on Tuesday night at the Forest Park Invitational. The team fought hard and competed well throughout the night finishing in 4th place overall as a team. Scoring for the Pioneers was Ava Kelley finishing 1st in the 100, 200, and long jump, Kiera Mockobee was 8th in the 100, Whitney Shoup was 3rd in the 100 hurdles, Irie Squires was 7th in the 100 hurdles and 3rd in the 300 hurdles, Lillyan Shoulders was 6th in the 800, Addison Luff was 2nd in the high jump, Abigail Orr was 5th in pole vault, Riley Cartwright was 4th in the discus, Alexis Whelan was 8th in the shot put, the 4x400 meter relay team of (Squires, Shoulders, Orr, Shoup) finished in 5th, and the 4x100 meter relay team of (Squires, Luff, Shoup, Kelley) finished in 1st place in a time of 50.49 seconds establishing a new meet record. Congratulations on the great efforts all around. The Track teams will be back in action on Monday Night at home for the Pioneer Relays. Go Pioneers!
