The boys track and field team performed well last night at Perrry Central vs Southridge, South Spencer, and Perry Central. At press time team results were not yet posted but the boys scored well in most events. Leading the way were our pole vaulters with Landon Boyer and Levi O'neil tying for first place with PR vaults of 11ft! Josiah Jorgenson places third at 10'6 and Joel Whelan with a PR vault of 10ft! These boys swept the the vaults! Jordan Paul wins both the 110H and the 300H. Grant Montgomery placed first in the 1600 and Gavin Zint was 2nd. Caleb Gentry was first in the 800. Logan Strahle took 2nd in the long jump with a season best jump of 20'0". Freshman Chase Curtis placed 2nd in the 100. Kyler Fischer and Brayden Mayes went 3rd and 4th in the disc. With Mayes also going 2nd in the shot put. The boys are back in action Thursday at Heritage Hills.
