Nick Gould joins Bishop Luers High School as the new Head Coach of the Girls Golf program, bringing his lifelong passion for athletics and education into this new role. A dedicated teacher at Bishop Luers, Nick is also a husband and father of four, three daughters and one son. An avid golfer in his free time, Nick is excited to share the joy and discipline of the game with the girls. Nick has an extensive basketball coaching background over the last 11 years coaching at the high school, AAU, and collegiate levels. Nick has always found personal enjoyment on the golf course and looks to continue that with the girls' golf program. As coach, he plans to prioritize effort, integrity, and student-athlete development, and is committed to building a positive team culture that blends competition with camaraderie. Nick has served as an assistant varsity and head JV boys' basketball coach at Bishop Luers since 2023, helping lead the team to a sectional championship and mentoring multiple All-Conference players. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he began his coaching career as a student assistant with the men’s basketball program. Nick looks forward to developing the next generation of Bishop Luers girl's golfers - focusing on fundamentals, confidence, and a love of the game that lasts well beyond high school.
