FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Benton Central’s Sophia Zarate Signs with Goshen College Oxford, IN – Benton Central High School is proud to announce that senior Sophia Zarate has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. A standout thrower for the Lady Bison Track and Field team, Zarate has excelled in both the shot put and discus events throughout her high school career. Known for her work ethic, determination, and team leadership, Sophia has been a consistent contributor to the program’s success and a positive example for younger athletes. At Goshen College, Zarate will compete as part of the Maple Leafs Track and Field team while pursuing a degree in Psychology.
