Bison Cross Country Advances to the IHSAA Regional at New Prairie The Benton Central Bison Cross Country teams will compete in the 2025 IHSAA Regional Championship hosted by New Prairie High School on Saturday, October 25, 2025. After a strong performance at the Rensselaer Sectional, the Bison runners are ready to take on a talented field at one of Indiana’s most challenging and scenic courses. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Race Information Host: New Prairie High School – 5333 N. Cougar Road, New Carlisle, IN 46552 Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 Times (Eastern Time): Boys Race: 11:30 AM (report to the start line by 11:25 AM) Girls Race: 12:15 PM (report to start line by 12:10 PM) 🎟️ Tickets All tickets are $10, available digitally through EventLink. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Purchase tickets prior to arrival: EventLink Tickets Show your mobile ticket at the gate for entry. 🚗 Parking & Traffic Reminder Parking is available in the main NPHS parking lots. New Traffic Pattern: Cougar Road is one-way northbound from State Road 2 to New Prairie HS. All departing traffic will exit toward U.S. 20. Team buses will park in designated areas north of the school. 🏅 Awards & Advancement Awards will be presented in the New Prairie High School main gym after both races conclude. The top 5 teams and the top 15 individuals from non-advancing teams will qualify for the IHSAA State Finals in Terre Haute. ⚠️ Weather Information New Prairie’s campus is equipped with an Earth Networks Outdoor Alert System for lightning detection. In the event of severe weather, all athletes and coaches must move indoors to the gymnasium.
