Oxford, IN -- May 19, 2025 Benton Central Junior Kate Cox continues to shine as an exceptional student-athlete, exemplifying excellence both in the classroom and in the community. Ranked 4th in a class of 160, Kate maintains a 4.12 GPA while balancing a rigorous academic load and numerous extracurricular commitments. A leader on and off the court, Kate plays varsity volleyball and competes for North Central Indiana Sand VBC as a 2027 Opposite/Right Side. She brings the same dedication and work ethic to her team as she does to her studies, serving as a team captain and consistently setting an example for her peers. Her academic pursuits are equally impressive. Kate is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and serves as a Teaching Assistant in Engineering, showcasing her passion and leadership in STEM.
