Monticello, IN -- May 9th & 10th 📝 2025 Twin Lakes Softball Invitational Summary Dates: May 9–10, 2025 Location: Twin Lakes High School (Varsity & JV Fields) The annual Twin Lakes Softball Invitational brought together a strong field of eight teams for two days of competitive action. Teams competed in two pools, with each squad playing three games to determine placement matchups. 🏆 Championship Game Highland 3, Hobart 1 Highland capped a perfect 4-0 tournament run with a hard-fought win over Hobart to claim the Invitational Championship. 🥉 3rd Place Game Pioneer 5, Rossville 0 Pioneer wrapped up an impressive weekend with a shutout win to secure third place. 📊 Pool Play Highlights Pool 1 Teams: Twin Lakes, Rossville, Bethesda Christian, Highland Highland went undefeated in pool play (3-0) and dominated with strong offensive performances. Twin Lakes finished 1-2, grabbing a win over Bethesda Christian (13-3). Rossville picked up two wins, including a 10-0 victory over Bethesda. Bethesda Christian went winless in pool play. Pool 2 Teams: Benton Central, Hobart, Rensselaer Central, Pioneer Hobart swept its pool games and won all four contests before falling in the championship. Pioneer finished 2-1 in pool play with a key 15-2 win over Benton Central. Rensselaer went 1-2 with a thrilling 10-inning loss to Hobart (8-7). Benton Central was 0-3, dropping games to Pioneer, Hobart, and Rensselaer. 💥 Notable Games Hobart 8, Rensselaer 7 (10 innings): One of the tournament's most exciting games. Highland 18, Twin Lakes 3: A dominant showing by the eventual champions. Benton Central 1, Hobart 12: Hobart’s offensive firepower continued to shine.
