Roosevelt MS Claims 2025 WCJC Golf Championship at Oak Grove CC Oxford, IN – May 10, 2025 – Benton Central Jr.-Sr. High School proudly hosted the 2025 WCJC Golf Championship at Oak Grove Country Club, where teams from across the conference competed under sunny skies on a beautifully conditioned course. Roosevelt Middle School emerged as this year’s team champion with an impressive performance. Benton Central earned a strong 2nd-place finish, while West Lafayette rounded out the top three in 3rd place. Central Catholic and Tecumseh were unable to post team scores due to not having four scoring players. The highlight of the day was the dramatic one-hole playoff for individual medalist honors between Calvin Dillinger of Roosevelt and Jaxon Brouillette of Benton Central. Both golfers carded a round of 38, leading to a sudden-death showdown. Dillinger sealed the victory in thrilling fashion, sinking a long chip for birdie. It was a memorable moment of skill and sportsmanship from both outstanding young golfers.
