Oxford, IN - April 10th, 2025 Benton Central hosted a Quad Track Meet on April 10, 2025, welcoming North Newton, Fountain Central, and South Newton for a competitive evening of track and field. It was a strong performance across the board for the Bison, as both the Girls and Boys teams claimed first place in the final standings. Girls Team Results: 1st – Benton Central (82 points) 2nd – Fountain Central (40) 3rd – South Newton (23) 4th – North Newton (17) Boys Team Results: 1st – Benton Central (81 points) 2nd – North Newton (42.5) 3rd – South Newton (19.5) 4th – Fountain Central (18) Meet Highlights: Sam Molter swept the sprints, winning the Boys 100m and 200m dashes. Maddie Peterson took 1st in the Girls 200m and 2nd in the 100m. Loralei Rayman won the Girls 1600m and finished 2nd in the 3200m. Chauncey Keller claimed the Girls 300m hurdles title and was key in both relay events. Sophia Zarate earned victories in both the Shot Put and Discus events. Aiden Thayer impressed with a win in the Boys High Jump and strong sprint finishes. Benton Central swept all four Boys relay events and won both the Girls 4x100 and 4x800 relays.
