Information provided by Head Coach Dusty Hughes New Carlisle, IN - Saturday, October 26, 2024 Our bison runners completed their season at the New Prairie Regional Cross Country meet this weekend. Two lady bison runners, Loralei Rayman and Allie Wuethrich, and the varsity boys team of Carter Fox, Jonah Fleming, Sam Fleming, Matthew McKinnis, Grady Rudolph, Ben Caldanaro, and Jude Johnson represented Benton Central well at one of the hardest courses in the region. Freshman Loralei Rayman ran with a goal of setting a new personal best time, regardless of the course conditions. She dropped seven seconds, and thereby placing higher than her in-sectional competition from Rensselaer, with a time of 21:02. Congratulations to an amazing season and good luck to all our athletes as they transition to their winter sports and club activities.
