Information Provided by Head Coach Dusty Hughes Rensselaer, IN The Bison cross country team had a successful Hoosier Conference meet at Rensselaer Saturday. Our boys’ team improved to 4th overall this year (up from 7th place last year) behind Hamilton Heights, West Lafayette, and Western. We had some very strong races against some of the best athletes in the area. Two of our runners fought through the packs to earn All-Conference distinctions. Junior Carter Fox placed 13th in a time of 17:24, and freshman Loralei Rayman placed 12th at 21:13. In total, eight of our runners dropped time. Junior Jonah Fleming set a personal best time by breaking the 18 minute barrier with a time of 17:53. Sophomore Allie Weuthrich and freshman Cameron Glotzbach reached dropped over a minute from their previous bests at 24:33 and 25:14 respectively. The cross country teams returns to Rensselaer for Sectionals next Saturday, October 18. The girls’ race starts at 11:30 am EST Time.
