Boys and Girls Cross Country compete in 24 team Invitational at Tippecanoe Amphitheatre

Meet Recap provided by Head XC Coach Dusty Hughes -- 9/7/2024 The Bison Cross Country team traveled back to the Tippecanoe Amphitheater Saturday to run in the massive 24 team Harrison Invitational. In attendance were some of the best teams from around the state. Our girls’ team of Sienna Holscher, Laurana Dillon, Allie Wuethrich, Loralei Rayman each posted their best times of the season. Allie ran an all-time personal best of 25:48, beating her previous best time of 25:55 set last year. Loralei set a personal best record with a time of 21:41, which is 49 seconds faster than her previous best. Sienna also improved her season best with a time of 22:46. For the boys, Carter Fox led the team of Jonah Fleming, Matthew McKinnis, Grady Rudolph, Sam Fleming, Jude Johnson, and Ben Caldanaro. Carter set an all-time best time of 17:58, being the first BC boy to break 17 minutes in two years. We also ran the five JV boys of Louie Pyke, Jackson Smith, Wyatt Amor, Dietrich Payne, and Dominic Dean. In total, every one of our runners dropped time from their previous season or all-time bests. We also had three runners participating in their first 5k cross country race able to compete. The team competes again in just a few days, traveling to Central Catholic on Tuesday to face CC and Seeger.
