Saturday, June 1, 2024: With the Class 2A Baseball Regional on the line, the Bison took on the Zebras from Rochester High School at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, IN. The Bison scored first and led 1-0 after the first inning. Rochester put two on the board in the top of the fourth inning to go up 2-1. The Zebras put up 5 to start the fifth inning and led 7-2 at the end of 5 complete. The Bison never gave up scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to keep the game within reach at 7-4. The Bison threatened in the bottom of the 7th with the first two batters reaching safely. The Zebras came up huge defensively turning a double play after a spectacular diving catch leaving a man at second with 2 outs. A strikeout recorded the final out of the game for the Bison.
