The Bison faced challenges establishing their usual flow and consistency, but continued to compete and found a way to come away with the win. The team’s ability to battle through a difficult performance and still secure the result was an important takeaway from the match. “We struggled to find our rhythm today, but the girls continued to fight and found a way to get the victory,” said Benton Central coach Dan Mirkin. “Now we need to take what we learned from this match and continue improving.” Benton Central will have a quick turnaround, returning to action Monday with another opportunity to build on today’s performance and continue its progress as a team.
