For Immediate Release The Benton Central Football Team is stepping up to make a difference in the community by hosting the Colts Leadership Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Benton Central High School Gym. The blood drive is part of the Indianapolis Colts Leadership Program, which encourages high school football teams across Indiana to serve their communities through leadership and service initiatives. By organizing the event, Benton Central football players are not only helping local patients in need, but also gaining valuable leadership experience while representing the Bison community with pride. Community members are encouraged to donate and support the cause. Every donation can help save lives and make a meaningful impact for patients in need of blood transfusions. In addition to helping others, donors will receive a complimentary Indianapolis Colts T-shirt while supplies last. The Benton Central Football program also has the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 in equipment funding through participation in the Colts Leadership Program. Appointments are encouraged to help keep the donation process running smoothly, with scheduled donors receiving priority. Walk-ins will be accepted as space and timing allow.
