For Immediate Release: West Lafayette, IN - February 28, 2026 Benton Central gymnastics was proudly represented today at the Harrison Gymnastics Sectional, highlighted by an outstanding performance from Senior Attalia Budreau. Budreau delivered a strong and steady meet, earning a 3rd-place finish on Vault and tying for 3rd place on the Uneven Bars. Her consistent performances across all four events secured her a Regional qualification in the All-Around competition. By advancing in the All-Around, Budreau will compete in all four events — Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor Exercise — at next week’s Regional competition. Her determination, focus, and composure under pressure were on full display throughout the day. Benton Central’s second sectional qualifier, Caleigh Jenkins, was unable to compete due to injury and had to scratch from today’s meet. Despite not being able to participate, Jenkins was present to support her teammate, demonstrating the strong bond and sportsmanship within the Bison gymnastics program.
