FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Benton Central Athletics Nov. 19, 2025 Five Benton Central Volleyball Standouts Selected for 2025 IHSVCA All-Star Matches Benton Central Volleyball will be well represented on one of the state’s biggest stages this weekend, as three seniors and two juniors have been selected to compete in the 2025 Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association (IHSVCA) All-Star Matches. The IHSVCA announced this year’s All-Star rosters following Sunday’s tryouts, and Benton Central is proud to recognize the following student-athletes: 2025 IHSVCA 1A/2A North Senior All-Stars Bella Widmer Cali Foster Izzy Adams 2025 IHSVCA 1A/2A North Junior All-Stars McKenna Yadon Madison Minniear These selections highlight the strength, depth, and competitive excellence of Benton Central Volleyball. Each athlete has demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and commitment throughout the season, earning them a place among Indiana’s top players. The 2025 IHSVCA All-Star Matches will take place Saturday, November 23, at Lawrence North High School. The event schedule is as follows: 12:30 p.m. – Class 1A/2A Junior Match (North vs. South) Approximately 2:00 p.m. – Class 3A/4A Junior Match 3:30 p.m. – first Senior All-Star Match 5:00 p.m. – second Senior All-Star Match Adding to the excitement, Benton Central Head Volleyball Coach Scott Mattson and Faith Christian Head Coach Josh Hill have been selected to lead the All-Star teams in competition this weekend. Their involvement further underscores the respect and recognition earned by the Benton Central volleyball program at the state level. “We are incredibly proud of our athletes and Coach Mattson for this well-deserved honor,” said Athletic Director Jared Hall. “To have five players and a coach represented at the All-Star level is a testament to the dedication and culture of excellence within our volleyball program.” Bison Nation is encouraged to make the trip to Lawrence North and support these outstanding student-athletes as they showcase their talents among the best in Indiana.
