Whiting athletics wrapped up with another weekend full of determination, hard work, and strides in the right direction. Varsity football fell to Calumet Friday night and JV played hard all game, but lost on Saturday. Cross Country had another strong showing at the Highland Invite. Charm McGee and Aaron Jimenez set new personal bests by nearly a minute! Braulio Cachu and Camila Ortiz showed that Oiler toughness fighting through pain to ensure they helped the team and finish the race. Overall, the team fought the heat, pain, and intensity of a long season! Heads and confidence are high as the Oilers XC team gears up for post-season play in a couple of weeks. Oiler Up!
