The Whiting Cross Country team had an outstanding showing this past weekend at TF South! Our runners competed with heart and showed incredible improvement across the board. Leading the way, Maite Navarro had a stellar race, placing in the top percentile, earning a medal, and setting a new personal record by an entire minute. On the boys’ side, Manny Duran made huge strides by shattering his previous PR by two full minutes, while Braulio Cachu led the way as the boys’ top finisher for the Oilers. Maite also claimed the honor as the girls’ top finisher for the team. Nearly every Oiler runner set a new personal best, proving the hard work and dedication at practices is paying off. We’re proud of the progress our athletes continue to make and can’t wait to see them build on this momentum as the season continues! Go Oilers! Oiler Up!
