This past week, both our Whiting volleyball and football teams battled hard in their matchups, showing effort, determination, and pride while representing the Oilers. Though the final scores didn’t go our way, our athletes left it all on the court and field, continuing to grow and improve with every game. Thursday 8/28 C team, JV, and Varsity volleyball fell to Illiana Christian. Friday 8/29 Whiting Football showed grit and determination fighting hard to the end in a 28-13 loss to Highland. Saturday 8/30 Varsity volleyball participated in the Washington Township Invite beating Lake Station, but falling to host Washington Township. Go Oilers! Oiler Up!
