JV and Varsity volleyball opened the season with a couple of wins vs Hebron on 8/18. JV swept with scores of 25-4 and 25-9 Varsity swept with scores of 25-22, 25-11, and 25-12. Andrea Cabrales served 16/16 with 4 aces and set 29/29 with 11 assists. Lilliana Lozano was 14/15 attacking with 8 kills. Lyzett Lozano was 36/37 total passing with 9 digs. The night was started with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem sang by volleyball player Romina Ornelas. Next up the Oilers travel to Westville on 8/20 for a 5:30 JV start and varsity to follow. Oiler Up!
