Our Varsity Cross Country team had an incredible showing at the Highland Invite this past Saturday, and it was truly a PR city for the Oilers! Nearly every runner set a new personal best, with some athletes dropping their times by multiple minutes! The boys race was something special. They competed with an incredible amount of heart, determination, and grit — a performance that even brought tears to Coach Sanfratello’s eyes. A huge congratulations to Braulio Cachu, who finally broke the 20-minute barrier, running an impressive PR of approximately 19:30! On the girls’ side, Jasmine Bibian continues to show what progress looks like. Meet after meet, she continues to top her previous performance and raise the bar for herself. We are incredibly proud of this team and the way they continue to work, compete, and push themselves. The future is bright for these Oilers! Keep running. Keep improving. Keep Pushing! Oiler Up!
