We would like to recognize and honor Jeff Blahunka, a 1972 graduate of Whiting High School, who passed away in January 2025. Jeff was an avid golfer and a proud supporter of Whiting athletics. Through his generosity and final wishes, Jeff made a meaningful donation to both our Whiting golf and boys basketball programs. His gift has already made a lasting impact, as it was used to purchase new golf bags for our golf team—something our student-athletes will benefit from for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for Jeff’s generosity and his continued support of Whiting athletics. His legacy will live on through the opportunities he has provided for our student-athletes.
