The Lady Oilers secured a thrilling victory in their first home game of the season, defeating Boone Grove with grit and determination. From the opening tip, Whiting showed heart, hustle, and focus, battling through multiple scoring runs from the Wolves. Each challenge was met with resilience as the team executed on both ends of the floor to stay in control. Strong defense, smart teamwork, and clutch plays down the stretch sealed the win, giving the home crowd plenty to cheer about. Aleshka Alonso led the way with a 28 point performance. Alexis Garro scored 14 and Jordyn Rivera recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Alexis Perez scored 6 points and Lily Morando chipped in 2 points. Varsity won 63-49!
