The Lady Stars golf team opened their season at Harrison Hills in Attica for the Seeger Invite. After a weather delay, the Stars worked out some of their nerves and gained valuable experience. Junior, Stefanie Dickerson shot a best ever at Harrison Hills 91 to lead the team. Senior Makenzie Amich and Junior, Lille Cripe, in her first ever varsity match, had 117s. Freshman, Ila Stokes shot a 121 and lead the team with low putts and fellow Freshman, Jaylee Dickerson was right behind her with a 122. The Stars finished with a team score of 446 good for 7th. They will be back in action Tuesday Aug 2nd to open conference play at Cool Lake verse Danville and North Montgomery at 4:30pm.
