Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys golf team faced host Sheridan and visiting Clinton Prairie at Cool Lake Golf Course last evening. The Stars would take a step forward, posting a season best 191, to finish second in the match. (Sheridan 206, Clinton Prairie 172). Freshman Alex Thompson continued his trend of lowering his score each round & led the Stars with a 45. Ben Fortner would follow with his season best 47. Evan Terwiske’s 48 and Luke LaGrange’s 51 completed the scoring for the Stars. Asher Foy remained consistent with a 53. The Stars are off until Saturday when they will compete at the Kent Frandsen Invite at Ulen Country Club.
