Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars boys golf team returned to Crawfordsville on Wednesday evening, this time to face the hosting Athenians and visiting Lafayette Central Catholic Knights in a three-way match at Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course. The Stars would drop the match to both opponents with a team score of 199, Crawfordsville (177) and Lafayette Central Catholic (154). Due to the absences of two of the Stars' top scorers, a couple of new faces would get the opportunity to play in a varsity match. Luke LaGrange once again led the way with a score of 45, followed by Maddex Gadbury's 49. Gadbury's score was a season best for him. Also scoring for the Stars were Ben Fortner (52) and Asher Foy (53). Nathan Byrum also shot a season best 54. The Stars will once again be in Crawfordsville on Saturday as the varsity participates in the Mountie Invite.
