Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The 7th grade Stars cruised to a 39-14 win over the Lebanon Tigers. The team constantly pushed the ball up the court on offense and played great team defense. Leading scorers for the Stars was Potter with 17 pts 1 reb, Fields 14 pts 14 rebs, Harrison 6 pts 4 rebs, Demaree 2 pts 2 rebs, Devol and Gallimore 3 rebs, Larew and Linton 1 reb. The 8th grade Stars travelled to Lebanon to take on the Tigers. The Stars scored the first bucket of the game, but it would be very difficult from that point forward. The Tigers used their size and quickness to limit the Stars from getting open looks or any momentum. The Tigers dominated both ends of the court. The Stars fell 45-11 in the A game. Boddicker had 9 and Mitchell 2. The B Team started a little better but fell to the same pressure, size, and quickness. The Star fell 47-12. Wilson 4, Richardson 3, Keith and Keyes 2 and Wilt 1. The Stars are home to face Crawfordsville Tuesday night.
