Saturday morning, the 8th grade Stars made their way to Frankfort in high hopes of taking the Sagamore Conference Champion title. They started off the day with a revenge 2-set sweep against Lebanon. The Stars dominated a three-set thriller against Frankfort in the second game to secure their spot in the championship against Tri-West. Although they had great defense in the championship game (and all day), they were just short of a win against the Bruins. The Stars finished 2nd in the conference holding their heads high with a day full of effort, perseverance, and energy. The Stars hope to finish out their season strong with their last 2 games this week. They play at Sheridan on Monday and Frankfort on Wednesday.
