The WeBo Girl’s Varsity Soccer team put together a balanced team performance at home vs. the Rossville Hornets and emerged with a 7-0 non-conference win on Tuesday. The Stars, playing for the 2nd consecutive night, got goals from six players: Kenzlei Mathews, Lindsey Steimel, River Roys (2), Clara Stanfield, Makenna Harrison and Ginette Stanfield. WeBo led at half-time 4-0, and continued to pressure throughout the 2ndbefore ultimately finishing the contest with their 1st shut-out of the year (Cora Somers in goal). The Lady Stars will next take the field on Thursday when they travel to Decateur Central for the 6:00pm kickoff.
